No more liquorice
Today I have done nothing but lie in bed, watch two series of a Rowan Atkinson sitcom, eat an entire chocolate rabbit and three pieces of molasses liquorice.
I would have eaten more liquorice but there was only three pieces left.
Its almost three pm.

Sarah,
ReplyDeleteI love liquorice more than I love life itself. Do you have liquorice allsorts down under? A sweet made in heaven. And I particularly like the way liquorice becomes stuck in the teeth and thereafter provides hours of pleasure and tongue exercise (ooh err missus) digging it out.
You can get liquorice allsorts, but its hard to source Bassetts - my mum and dad always claimed that they were the best.
ReplyDeleteI like the soft liquorice that you get in the big paper bags. First you say, I'll just have two pieces, ooh, I'll just have another... and then an hour later you have an empty paper bag and a suspicious feeling that your gut is unimpressed with your gluttony.
My mother regularly eats entire tubs of raspberry liquorice on the way home from work. It takes her twenty minutes to drive home.
Rasberry liquorice isn't real liquorice of course.
