Ok. So...
I didn't know that I had posted that incredibly drunken little note the other day, re: the chicken chips and the mother that peer pressures. I thought I hadn't posted for a hell of a long time not since the Andy drama (thank you for your lovely comments).
What to share - living in Central City Apartment, I'm surrounded by my glorious books and the new dresser set I bought when I moved back. It's a cane one; second hand, three piece (bed side table, dresser and stool that I can sit on while I preen). When my brother saw it he asked me which tiki bar I'd stolen it from, to provide you with a further and perhaps more descriptive image.
Tonight I'm going to a work function (drunken midweek dinner at an Indian restaurant that I've never heard of.) I work with lots of fabulously attractive boys... so the meal should be eye candy galore (with the exception of Danny the Weasel who's weasely). There's a boy that I work with at the airport, and he's dreamy, I act very strange and tongue tied around him, not appropriately at all, and especially as he's exactly the kind of boy I had crushes on when I was fourteen. My mother did this whole reclaiming youth thing when she broke up with dad - so maybe my reclaiming youth thing involves me acting like a teenager???! In that case I profoundly pity you all as my blog will descend into "And I was like, Omigod, and he was like, no but yeah but no, yes! No, it's roolly, totally true."
My project for tomorrow then is to come up with a more suitable blogging topic, one of the many issues people in their mid twenties are tackling with in contemporary New Zealand society.
