Government Lawyers Practising for a Marae Visit
I just walked into the staff room to discover a group of government lawyers singing along in Maori to a guitar. They were very timid singers, and I suspect this will work against them on the Marae. Despite this, I gave them encouragement in the way I felt best - by shouting "Ka pai!" as they finished. Nervous giggles. Again, this is likely to work against them when performing.
I have painted my nails navy blue. I feel exotique.
