1. Do you snack while you read? If so, favourite reading snack? All the snacks are my favourite. Chocolate tends to make pages dirty though.
2. Do you tend to mark your books as you read, or does the idea of writing in books horrify you? I’ve done it in the past to see what it was like, but it doesn’t do much for me.
3. How do you keep your place while reading a book? Bookmark? Dog-ears? Laying the book flat open? Unfortunately mostly dog ears and laying the book open. I’ve made some fabulous bookmarks in the past but I can never remember to use them.
4. Fiction, Non-fiction, or both? BOTH
5. Hard copy or audiobooks? BOTH
6. Are you a person who tends to read to the end of chapters, or are you able to put a book down at any point? I’ve learnt to put the book down at any point… used to drive me nuts as a kid.
7. If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop to look it up right away? No… unless it comes up again and again. Or I like the sound of it and think I might like to use it myself.
8. What are you currently reading? A junky Diana Gabaldon book my mother leant me, The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Kristin Lavransdatter… and some others too.
9. What is the last book you bought? The Bell Jar.
10. Are you the type of person that only reads one book at a time or can you read more than one at a time? I seem to permanently have a hundred thousand books on the go. This may be hyperbole.
11. Do you have a favourite time of day and/or place to read? On a freshly made bed on a sunny spring time afternoon.
12. Do you prefer series books or stand alone books? Stand alone
13. Is there a specific book or author that you find yourself recommending over and over? Lolita by Nabakov. It’s crazy good!
14. How do you organize your books? (By genre, title, author’s last name, etc.?) I used to organise by Author, at the moment there is no order but I’m desperate to organise by colour.
The editing is bung but I can't be arsed fixing it.
