A list of things that are possibly quite awful but that I have really enjoyed doing lately

• Text messaging while riding my bike along the waterfront and listening to Agatha Christie audiobooks.
• Watching umpteen episodes of Deadwood in a row, until my mind goes funny and I want to call everyone Cocksucker.
• Living in bed: eating Men's Pocky and chocolate chip shortbread and revelling in my own filth while the weather turns to crap outside.
• Spending ages in the library looking at the CDs and only getting the stupidest nostalgia albums out (the Glory of Music Hall anyone? It features the song "The Biggest Aspidistra in the World").
• Cooking too too much food, filling the freezer with insane amounts of dahl and knowing perfectly well it will be there until I come back because both of my flatmates are freaked out by lentils.
• Making the Boy listen to the shittiest CDs of the bunch that I won at work for New Zealand Month while drinking two bottles of cheap white wine and ranting about the Media.
• Cooking an entire pumpkin all at once.
• Crocheting bicycle accessories.
