So, *Arohanui Time*, in no particular order
- The photo above of Brigitte Bardot riding a bicycle. Not only is she just amazingly sexy and awesome in this photo, she's also riding a sexy awesome bicycle. I have no idea where the photo came from originally but I saw it on a website called Riding Pretty.
- Spending almost the whole of a weekend day cooking; making and eating cupcakes, making huge amounts of soup for the week ahead, cooking a big roast meal with free range chicken and garlic and lemon and thyme.
- Taking some care of the vegie garden after it was horribly neglected.
- Growing roots on clippings and then transplanting them. This is such an awesome feeling, especially when those little roots come through... it's like "Oh hai there little guys! How YOU doin'?"
- Weekend mornings with the Boy: coffee in bed, Kim Hill, and abusing Chris Laidlaw for his terrible journalistic skills. DO SOME FREAKING RESEARCH!
- Virtuously making lists of things to do in cafes while drinking coffee, then going home and doing the fun things at the bottom first.
- Wearing the rabbit fur to work, with jeans and Doc boots, and feeling exceptionally eccentric and warm and snug.
- Heart-shaped Post It notes stuck on my mirror, on the forehead of the taxidermy possum in the hallway, on the Boy's back.
- Hula-hoop anticipation.... I've won it! Can't wait to get my hoopy moves on.
- Redesigning my banner and slooooowwwwly figuring out how to use Gimp.
- Getting new pages for my recipe book and knitting pattern clear files. Sometimes, I like to just turn the pages and revel in my own organisational skills.
- Kisses and sleeping close and warm through wintry nights.
