Some Christchurch portaloos

o, lots of people of Christchurch are using portaloos and chemical toilets at present. Lovely Katherine went down to visit her family in Sumner and sent me some photos of the rocks that have fallen into the RSA and tanks on the corners of streets and suchlike.

HOWEVER, she also emailed me photographs of one of the most awesome things that has come out of the emergency: the portaloos of Sumner.

I think I like the Marilyn portaloo the best - the magazines seem like a nice touch too, as I imagine that at peak times there must be a fair queue out there. Although not as long as those in New Brighton et al ☹.
