BEST OF THE BEST over 5 YEARS of SCP.
2005:
SARAH THE MUFFIN THIEF. From the days when I was waiting to go to Adelaide and was working part time as a coffee bitch, going to many exhibition openings and had not yet become "Ginger". Warning: this post contains a badly manipulated image that may be disturbing to some readers.
2006
2006 will be forever remembered as the year I was Horribly Depressed. This was one of my more awesome freak outs: the others I didn't say too much about. I did blog an awful lot about staying in bed, and sleeping. Towards the end of the year I also hated on Andy a bit. Not a lot though. Just a bit. I think this is one of the better posts, amongst some seriously slim pickings.
2007
A Bitsy year, indeed.
Two posts: Finger Sugar, which references an ongoing in joke between Shannon and me, and
Incunabula and Archivists, which is mainly a bitch about the most annoying archivist/librarian in the world, Vernon. FYI, I am still mightily bugged by you, Vernon, if you're reading this.
2008
The year began during a hiatus with S. I was very tortured over the hiatus, as you can read, and there are lots of posts about listening to Paul Simon too. This was also my first year into derby, and the year I broke my ankle, a situation that brought rise to the mighty Caper Caper, featuring one of the greatest/worst image manipulations of all time.
2009
This year I decided that I was giving up on negativity in the Blogosphere; vis. Relentless Negativity and the Blogosphere and Not the Only Person. It hasn't been an easy road, but I believe I've successfully neutralised most of my own really bitchy rants, with some notable exceptions.
2010
AND so far this year, my favourite post has been about Petunia, the tea-cup pig that wasn't (so close I could almost TASTE her. Tastes like bacon). But also I am super proud of my increased structure, and my focussed blogging about saving money and lady blood times. High five for me!
Your turn to be self-referential! What's your favourite post that you've written?
I've only been reading your blog the last few months or so but this makes me want to sit down with a cuppa and do some reading :-)
ReplyDeleteThis here is probably my own favourite - http://craftytuesday.blogspot.com/2010/02/not-about-knitting.html
And not because it's about anything really special or is even particularly well written. It just kind of puts me and my panicked little situations into a nutshell :-)
NO! Negativity for the win! I could write a blog post about the job where I used to get told off for "negging out" all the time. That'd be happy reading.
